THE CONTEMPORARY FOOD-TO-GO SHOW CELEBRATES 10TH ANNIVERSARY BY BREAKING RECORDS!

 

London’s ExCel Centre celebrated its 10th Anniversary with a record number of exhibitors, new products and entries to its Innovation Challenge.

The show provided valuable insight into the food-to-go category but one thing was clear from the start; on-the-go, healthier alternatives reign on!

 

Upon arrival, we received the lunch! exhibition guide which highlighted growth in the UK-food-to-go market! The UK food-to-go market is experiencing steady, stable growth and is being fuelled by health-conscious, time poor consumers. That’s what we like to hear.

One of the main attractions this year was the Lunch! Innovation Challenge which saw 69 entries; its largest EVER participation.

 

On the first day, fifteen finalists were chosen by popular visitor vote and invited to pitch their innovation to judges and a live audience. Five companies were awarded bronze awards, six silver and 4 Gold.

The Innovation challenge allows buyers to easily identify the best new products to enter the food-on-the- go market and is a great way to separate your brand from its closest competitors.
